Looks like we can finally get .6 micron parts from WDC. I checked
about a year ago and they didn't have .6's available in a PLCC
package. Most '816's that I've seen are .8 micron and the really old
ones are 1.2 micron. Not that the processor is a limitation in the
GS, typically its the other components on the accelerator. Just
thought that I'd throw this out there for whoever is interested.
BTW, the process designator is the last digit before the PL. You can
find this info on the last page of the Datasheet.
6 = .6 micron
8 = .8 micron
Nothing = 1.2 micron
