Re: GS/OS: looking for info on VCB and FCB (***Full post***)

[*** Oops, I accidentally pressed send before I finished typing the original
post! ***]

The preliminary documentation (dated July 1988) describes some of these
calls.

All of the named calls below appear in the "GS/OS System Service Calls ERS"
document I have.
- Some of the calls are only minimally documented.
- There is no guarantee the calls function the same way in the release
versions of GS/OS.
- The calls marked as "reserved" were probably used to implement later FSTs.

I'll see if I can get a scan of the System Service Calls ERS - it's
certainly too long to type in! :-)

BTW, what's the best approach to take with the scanned document (it will be
in PDF format) so that people can get to it?

I have added the names in the ERS - not that most of them are much use!

The remainder are not mentioned at all - I'm guess they hadn't even bothered
"reserving" them at the time the ERS was written!

No help with the VCR and FCR structures, unfortunately.
