Strange Cable on 3.5 Drive?

Please help me identify this cable. It came plugged into the back of
an Apple 3.5 Drive, model A9M0106. The ends of the cable look like
they could hook into old-school 5.25" drives (or is that a redundant
statement).
What could this be and how can I use it now?
