That is a marvellous question. I'll write down the name of the chip
tomorrow. Sorry. It's been unexpectedly busy here.
I can tell you the chip seems to have the ability to sense battery vs system
power through it's vcc pin.
I also believe when it is in AC power mode and the Enable pin is in a
specific state which I can't say, Pin1 putputs a 1 Hz pulse. Normally that
is. Mine doesn't do that anymore.
Hope that's something at least until I can get the chip name.
