I am in Singapore - the place where they manufactured the Apple IIGS. :

Shipment is so expensive an my wife probably won't let me pay so much
(she will probably prefers me to get her the new nano not some old
computers...). My main worriy about getting from US after paying heavy
shipment is whether the machine still works, and enough for
development. Unlike many of us who just simply collecting, if I get
one I will wanted to give it to my son as his main machine (he is now
using Mac Mini + Sweet16) so he can properly grow up as an Apple IIGS
programmer. The requirement will be quite high - he will at least need
a harddisk (that means SCSI card too), sound card, and I also need to
solve the problems of how to get his program out? Ethernet card?
Modem?
