I have also released Mandelbrot II GS - a much better version of the fractal program with tons of features - as disk image. However, I can only get this to work under real GS (in the past, I can't verify now) but none of the emulators, so I can't guarantee whether it will still work. I will attempt to "fix" it when I am free.
