If you have not tried it and you have a Mac OS X machines, you really
should go to http://www.sheppyware.net/software-mac/sweet16/ and try
it out. Download the latest 2.0 public beta 1 - this is a really solid
build and I am now using it daily for programming!
The new full screen mode is amazing, the display is exactly what IIGS
should be. The cool stuff that is not available in other build is the
new standard aspect ratio display - and in the first time, the IIGS
finally have a 1:1 proportion - and since it uses OpenGL - the output
does not have any strange effect, it just look better than the normal
GS! Finally the GS font is no longer long and skinny and looks simply
beautiful.
The only issue is that DiversiTune is not supported, and there is an
issue in Applesoft Basic GR/HGR display in full screen mode. But other
than these minor issues, Sweet16 finally bring back the IIGS for OS X
machines - just like the Bernie did for the OS 9 machines.
