Re: Last Version of TML Pascal II (Complete Pascal II)

Ok, here is what I got:

TML Pascal v1.50 (Disk does not say "II") (c)1987,1988
TML Pascal II System Disk (c)1989
TML Pascal II Compiler Disk (c)1989
TML Pascal II v1.1 Upgrade Disk (c)1989
TML Source Code Library (c)1987
TML Pascal v1.0 Manual (136 pages) (c)1987
TML Source Code Library Manual (33 pages) (c)1987

It appears that there is a different manual being referred to for TML
Pascal v1.1. (I have a 2 page "TML Pascal II v1.1 Installation Notes"
that do not correspond to the TML Pascal v1.0 manual that I have. So
there could very likely could be 3 manuals which exist. Since your
French manual doesn't correspond to your copy of TML Pascal II v1.1.
And so the plot thickens.

Oh, and I've got TML Basic and its Manual, but I hear that its
somewhat buggy and wasn't upgraded to the extent that Pascal was.

Great. It would be good to track this down before it vanishes for
good.

Btw, nice work on the manual!
Thanks. I plan on doing another revision to clean up some of the
"rough" English used in the 1st revision. But its not a high priority
at this stage. After doing that translation and also the translation
of Deckards FASTDSK software, I'm a bit over doing any more right
now... :-)

Paul,

Thanks heaps for your efforts finding those. Are they part of your personal collection?

Would you mind making disk images? As I said in an earlier post, I am assuming that this is abandonware as the IIgs Fairway site has a TML Pascal II image posted (this is the version I've been mucking around with). It would be interesting to compare your version(s) against the version I have.

The manual would be nice too, but I know how painful scanning largish documents can be....not only that, it would make my translation effort feel somewhat circumvented. ;-)

It would seem that Complete Pascal 2.0 is a very rare commodity indeed! And worst of all, from what I've read, it was the best version of this development environment released (included many bugfixes and improvements). The search continues...
