Michael, Matt, Paul.. once again thank you for your input.

After much searching I did find some interesting docs on electrolytics
which I'll post on my site for awhile in case anyone is interested in
more specifics on electrolytics.   Due to their chemical nature, they
seem to be a black art akin to batteries... unlike most other
components.
