Hello all,
I just joined the list and am wondering if I can access it through a
usenet client (mine is Nemo on OSX) or can you only access the list
through your browser?
Thanks!
Josh
You should be able to access this newsgroup and any others via any
e-mail program that offers a newsreader, like Thunderbird.

If I enter comp.sys.apple2 for the address in my newsreader it never
connects. Is this the right address I should be putting in?

Not knowing your news-reader, it's hard to say exactly what steps to take. In Thunderbird I have to create a news account which requires the location of the news server something like news.someprovider.net. You are then required to load the servers list of available groups. You can then select which groupd(s) you would like to subscribe to. Some readers will allow you to search the groups list using wildcards or partial names.

To post, your reader will need email capability or access to your email program and proper connection to your email provider.

Alternately, you could join at a2central.com and read apple2 the groups from there.

Google also provides access and archiving of news-groups which gives you another web based method to a large variety of groups.
