Holy crap...I bought mine *new* back in the day, and I don't think I paid
that much. Maybe I could get extra for mine because it's the version that
fits in a IIe case (done by taking a Dremel with a cut-off disc to the
appropriate corner a few minutes after I received it :-) ).
...or not.
Either way, what you're seeing are collectors bidding it up to insane
levels. Some Applied Engineering goodies have been bid up like that before,
but Sequential Systems' card is just another 4-bank memory card (perhaps
somewhat unique for the type of RAM it uses, but since it shipped
fully-populated, that was just a matter of implementation).
