It's a nice collection, and a low serial number - #1248, back when the
motherboards were serialized and not dated.

Fluke? No... all these Apple II auctions have been trending up. At 30 years
old, the original Apple II has officially become a retro collectible. For the
average Apple II hacker, the hobby is probably going to get more expensive.
