Re: comp.sources.apple2 material archive?

Thankfully the messages that were posted to the newsgroup are archived
and available through google groups (for example).

However, there was some material that was only published on the
(moderator's?) FTP site.

For example, this article references a file that was only available by
FTP:
http://tinyurl.com/3bhcqd

The (moderator's?) FTP site is no longer available and therefore this
material is not easily accessible.

Was there an archive made of the material on the (moderator's?) FTP
site?

(Arguments as to whether or not this particular file should be
available to be exported from the USA are out of scope)

I have tried on numerous occassions to contact the moderator, Jonathan
Chandross, about this. Initially he indicated that he did have the
material and he seemed willing to restore access, however nothing
appears to be available. So I'm appealing to the wider community in
the hopes that someone has this stuff.

I, too, have tried to find this source--to *import* it into the US. ;-)
