That's a great way to go--as long as it doesn't cause you to pay less attention, thinking that the pictures will be a good substitute. When that little spring goes flying across the table, leaving a small washer and a funny-shaped piece of plastic in front of you, it's going to be hard to get it all back together properly! I often draw diagrams on paper as I progress, and I find that, as when making a crib sheet, the effort of making them means I almost never have to refer to them. ;-) -michael NadaNet file server for Apple II computers!
