While writing my original post, I had in mind the case where the user already had such small cards available. For example, I have a couple acquired from digital cameras where the card was replaced or the camera failed.
In fact, I was mostly trying to make a point about using multiple ram cards with a USB adapter. Actual ram card sizes wouldn't matter as such except in the case where one has too much. :)
