Last night I used FOCUSFORMAT to format and partition a 128k CF drive.
After 6.01 initialized each partition, they appear as other HD
partitions.
1) However, on a //e I thought I read that if the Focus drive is in
slot *seven*, one should expect only *two* partitions to appear.
Instead 7,1 7,2 4,1 4,2 appear. I'm happy. She's a working!
Is this the expected behavior now? I think Prodos was 2.03 or 2.04.
2) I tried to use Ciderpress to copy a 7 meg partion to a 30 meg
partition. I believe it was a big PO file. When I attempted to dump
that onto the 30 meg partition, Ciderpress complained of the size
difference. I could see nothing on the resultant target.
Is it possible to bulk move information between unequally sized
partitions via Ciderpress?
