Sounds like Krapp to me.
As Michael said in another post, the routines would already have to exist at
a lower level anyway.
I've emailed them aswell, got to keep the pressure on them!
I did look at the USBwiz stuff aswell, which already support read/write
block commands.
They lack the parallel FIFO interface however, which I would prefer to use.
Would have to use the UART interface which would be possible, though slower.
6551's (and the like) will struggle *long* before they get near the top
speed of the UART on the USBwiz boards.
Could always use a 16550 I suppose with it's decent FIFO....
