Yes. Especially if you don't have much RAM as the ROM3 has
a full additional megabyte onboard.
This point is moot if you get a RAM expansion with 8MB, as the
GS can't address more than 8MB in either ROM version, AFAIK.

IMHO none of the mentioned titles are worth going back to
a ROM1 - but YMMV.

And of course you'll also have your ROM1 board as a spare
should the need ever arise.

Why you want to sell? The differences between a IIe and
a IIgs (in compatibility mode) are far greater than between
a ROM1 and ROM3.
In the worst case you could keep it as a testbed for expansion
cards to see if they behave correctly before you put them
into your lovely ROM3 GS! ;-)
