IIGS project

Last year I posted here about getting a IIGS with a bunch of stuff
with it from a local Freecycle list.  World of Warcraft cut short my
efforts to do anything with it (including making the cable I wanted to
make).  Here it is 9 months later and I think maybe I'm surfacing from
the deep waters that are a full blown WoW addiction.

I've started looking at the IIGS, trying to really figure out what is
in it, how to use it, and getting an inventory of parts, etc.

I've been taking some pictures for posterity's sake, and to help
others who might be trying to do what I'm doing.  I figure it might
also help if I ever had a question and found an expert, I could say
"ok take a look at my card, here are the pics, what is this particular
chip and what does it do?"
