Apparently Pascal is a religion and Turbo is some kind of a herecy?

I've never used Pascal for anything professionally, but I clearly remember
that all the Pacsal implementations
of the time were really slow. Like the MT+ Pascal on CPM taking 5 minutes to
compile "Hello, world" or
whatever the Pascal equivalent was... And then the Turbo Pascal that
compiled in seconds! All in memory!
