I build the shipping versions of the product with Visual Studio 6. VS2003
wants to add an additional DLL (msvcp?), and I discovered over the weekend
that my custom file selection dialogs don't come out well with the newer
widgets (e.g. MDC is pretty much unusable).
For CP/M development, you could do all your work under Linux, testing
with "makedisk". Or write a "putfile" variant of "getfile". One of my
hopes in making the code available is that we'd get a nice set of
command-line utilities.
You could also check for hideous data-trashing bugs in the existing CP/M
code. I never use CP/M, so it's hard to be confident in it.
