Hi all,
In my last post I asked about using the SSC in a IIGS for ADTPro...
However in the end I opted for the IIGS modem cable which I received on
Friday, so no need to complicate matters with the SSC (and I'm lazy).
Also, I hooked up a pair of 5.25" Disk II drives with a Disk II interface in
slot #4. In Control Panel I set slot#4 to "My Card" and Startup Slot to
"Slot 4". In case it matters, display is 80 characters.
With this configuration I can boot 5.25" DOS3.3 and Lode Runner, for example.
I downloaded and installed ADTPro 0.1.5.
I can start a transfer of EsDOS II without any problems, but somewhere
between 1/3 and 1/2 way thru the transfer, the IIGS screen stops scrolling.
The ADTPro server continues sending until the transfer completes. Not
surprisingly, no prompt on the IIGS screen either.
If I press <ENTER> on the IIGS after it stops, I get...
"00/2800:00 00 00 ..."
Any ideas? Is it because I have an extra Disk II interface in the memory map?
Ultimately I'm trying to get a 3.25" bootable DOS (ProDOS?) and also GSOS v5
onto 3.25" floppies.
Regards,
