Hello everybody,
I bought a very nice Apple ][ Europlus
http://i17.ebayimg.com/04/i/000/8b/0e/07b0_12.JPG
It came carefully packed and I set it up immediately.
The Disk Interface is connected to an original Apple Disk Interface on
Slot 6, Drive 1. A Language Card is installed on Slot 1 and connected
to a port on the logic board by cable.
Everything looks nice and clean but if I try to power up the Apple ]
[ the power supply simply gives a monotone
"zip...zip...zip...zip...zip..." sound (not loud but remarkable).
Nothing happens. There is sadly no LED on the logic board to see if it
becomes power.
I talked to the former owner and he says he used the Apple ][ to the
last day of his ownership and I believe him - the photo tells the same
story.
Does anyone have an idea what this could be?
Oliver
