Problem - the CF disk will not warm boot with a Control-OA-Reset
command as it use to with the original HD. Otherwise, the Focus_CF
seems to be working fine so far. It will cold boot reliably. I also
have this problem with another Focus card & HD which I formatted. So,
I wonder if there is something I did in the preparation sequence (Low
Level Focus Format, Partition with tool in Focus folder, initialize
with Apple's ADU on the IIgs) which is wrong, or maybe this HD, and
this CF card are not completely compatible. I recall restrictions on
which brand of HD to use with the Focus card posted on the Computer
Circulation Center web site.
Speed - the CF card seems about as fast as the HD. It's an old 8 meg
card from a Camera. I wonder if a faster CF card would speed things up
more, or is the 1MHz //e the bottleneck?
