Re: Mastery Development Software Copy

I don't have any 'tools' or knowledge as far as cracking programs, but I do
have Copy II+ and Locksmith. AMart is a little lucky as I actually have a
copy of the disk he is talking about. I've been able to do a little
experimenting. Seems every version of Copy II+ or Locksmith that I've found
doesn't have anything listed for Mastery Development. :-(
Seems it's a ProDOS disk with it's own system called PAJDOS which looks like
a rewrite of ProDOS. It's a system file but if I format a disk as ProDOS
and copy the file to it, it won't boot. I can copy the tracks 00 to 02
using nibble copy. Then I've been having some luck copying the rest of the
tracks using whole .25 increments, 3.25 then 4.25 and so on. The whole
tracks (3, 4, 5) don't seem to help. Doing a hi-res disk scan do help me
detect where some of the data might be but I've never found it that useful.
I know copying the disk and cracking it are two totally different things.
Maybe someone has dealt with PAJDOS before? I can ShrinkIt the file and put
in on my Web Server if anyone wants a copy. I just have a feeling that all
the data is located on the quarter tracks. If I can make a copy then at
least AMart might be able to also.
