I have a GS-RAM Plus (totally different card) and it came with two PLD
chips; one for ROM 01 and one for ROM 03. I would bet AE just designed
their cards with the PLD "personality module" in mind for the two machines.
So I would not expect the 03 PLD to work in an 01 machine.
