The scan at that site, though, is very low contrast, and will
need some enhancement before you'd want to use it.

A typical problem with scans is that the entire book is scanned
with the same resolution, which, for already reduced schematics,
is marginal at best.

In any case, anyone interested in the Apple II line really
should get a copy of the Reference Manual.  I still refer to
mine regularly, often while sitting at the Apple keyboard.

Also the great book "Understanding the Apple ][" is also
available there. It explains the hardware in great detail.

I couldn't agree more--I consider it the definitive reference
on the Apple ][ circuit design--and its schematics, distributed
throughout the text, are very readable.
