Greetings,
I noticed something interesting the other day after I transferred
Wizardry 2 and Wizardry 3 from disk images to real disks. Just like
Wizardry 1 Wizardry 2 expects the boot disk to be write protected or
it won't boot all the way into the game. The interesting thing was
that Wizardry 3 would boot all the way but when I put in the disk that
it should have recognized as the scenario master it told me that disk
wasn't the master. Just on a hunch I write protected that disk and it
finally recognized it as the scenario master.
On another note I got the box of 500, brand new, 5.25 disks via UPS
yesterday that I got through Ebay. Now I'm set to start transferring a
lot of games from disk image back to real disks to play on my recently
accquried Apple IIe system.
Apple II Forever
