No, it's just that the current code is targeted towards embedded
systems which tend to come without OS filesystem support.

I didn't fiddle with that because my Contiki for the Apple2 focuses on
the client type apps, not on the server type ones. The web server was
running AS IS without effort so I just included it.


I presume this is also the reason that the browser cannot open
HTML files on the host.
