 nes to apple II game converter.

You _might_ have some luck converting NES sound to a slight
approximation of AY (mockingboard) sound. However, the NES color
palette goes beyond the // DHGR palette, and the resolution is hight as
well, I believe. A full-out game conversion wouldn't be possible for
the simple fact the NES had sprite hardware and the // does not. If
you were to convert a game somehow, it would be slooooooow and have
very odd-looking colors. Hence, ports are more the name of the game.

256x224, iirc.

That being said, it might be interesting to see who can write a //e
port of the legend of zelda. ;-)

xD

I'd like to see a ][+ port of a few games...

  * Galaga
  * Atari Adventure
  * complete Pitfall
  * Super Mario Land

and would it even be possible to port these to the //e?

  * Castlevania
  * Contra/Gryzor
  * Gradius/Nemesis

-uso.
