What 'brand' is yours?

It seems to be a fairly generic board. I'd love to get my mitts on a
schematic of it.

I have absolutely no idea.

That's possible. But IIRC it worked last time I powered it on. The only
difference was time. At the time it already had the burnt caps.

Yeah. Pity, that.

You mean that weird 16k expansion?
The chip numbers are different but that doesn't mean much. I'll have to
check them out later.

'tis dead.
See the reply to Charlie Springer.
Pulling the character rom and the cpu doesn't even affect it. At least all
the parts except the data on the roms are all readily available. And
perhaps the RAM, but there's always a way around that.

Yeah, It's hard to say. If it works at all I feel it's more likely to work
in slot 7.
I gave it another try in the //e. This time paying a little more attention.
I go PR#7, whack return.
I get this
]]
Ie a second close square brace. Nothing else. This is so frustrating. I
finally get some more cards that I can use in my //e and some of them are
dead!

I'm going to do that. Probably a week from now because of time constraints.
The monitor I want to test with is on the bottom of the shed. Ie with
nearly 2m of stuff on top of it.

Fingers crossed I can get the clone working.

Oh yeah. Have you identified yours on http://www.apple2clones.com/
