Oh, so this thing can do 80col too. Is it as easy as using it on the //e or
are there some extra hoops to jump through (software etc)?

You and me both. It'd be possible to read it back via the computer, right?
As opposed to yanking it and using an eprommer (which I no longer have).
It's a very simple looking beastie as you can see from the track layout etc.
I'll probably have to shove it in my //e to do that. If I do it on the clone
I'll have no way of getting it out! The drives need severe maintenance.
I'm still curious about the Atlas 8. I'm guessing it's just a standard clone
floppy drive.
I've only used my platinum for so long I guess i was surprised that the
floppies aren't daisychained.
One thing about the RAM card struck me as odd. The read and write LEDs. What
kind of superhuman could actually see them during a memory access?
I also like its red IC sockets.
The computer is an Apple clone with not a single apple brand expansion.
Perhaps they liked the idea of the apple but hated the companys business
practices.
