I guarantee it isn't the Keyspan USA-28X model. I tried everything,
from simply sending the ADTPro Apple II Prodos program to the IIe to
doing a bare metal bootstrapping of the computer, nothing worked. So,
after finding and reading this thread, I got on Ebay and found the
Lindy 42856 and bought it. I also went to the Lindy website and
downloaded the OS X drivers. Now all I need to do is get a DB9F to
DB25M cable and hopefully I'll finally be in business.

If I didn't enjoy having an Apple IIe again I'd almost say that this is
more trouble than it's worth. Though it does make me wish I hadn't
tossed all my Apple II software in the trash a couple years agon after
I screwed up the motherboard on an Apple IIGS I had at the time. Ah
well, hind sight truly is 20/20.
