Re: CFFA card and the Mac
what screws it up for me is that not only am i on a mac, i'm on an
intel mac. classic is positively NOT supported. and the few mac that
utilities like AppleCommander that exist DON'T work.
i'm checking out ADFS now, which DOES work on my imac. it seems like
the OS X equivalent of ciderpress, which is great because i'm booting
up this 10 year old Gateway 2000 laptop to use ciderpress now and it's
getting to be a pain to go back and forth. :)
there's got to be a way to write a *NIX kernel extension to recognize
the prodos-formatted CF card, or at least not touch them. are low-level
reads supported on generic USB mass storage card drivers? because
that's the way the CFFA card is accessing the CF. I don't actually know
much about writing a driver like that, but i could see that it is
possible.
