Re: I need help

And I too Riley have met people like you, unfortunately.

Always looking for someone other than who is responsible to 'bail them out'
of some unthinkably terrible situation they find themself in.

"Oh noes, life screwed me, send money quick that'll fix it"

My original post wasn't to bash you, but to set you where you really ought
to be headed. Take responsibility for your own screwups,
learn from them and set yourself on track to where you want to be.
Thousands of people sending you a dollar isn't going to change
who you are or how you operate. Only you can do that for yourself. What
happens when the people (god forbid there is any stupid
enough) on the internet wise up and stop sending you money? Where are you
going to be then? Back to square one right where you
are now.

I've worked consistently for everything in life since I was 14. Paid taxes
that support social programs, much like the one you are on
that entire time too. The only difference between you and I, is I didn't
decide to default on any loans. I finished my schooling. You
could have too if you'd adopted the phrase "Mea Culpa" into your life back
when you were frittering your adult responsibilities away.

If I am as you say, the type the world can do without, then who is going to
pay the taxes that allows people like you
to have free handouts from the government? Oh shit didn't think of that
angle did you? Get rid of the "me's" and
you wind up in a third world country full of the "you's" all asking each
other for a dollar, with no one to give it.

And for the record, I've never driven by anyone and yelled get a job. The
people trying to make a difference in
their own life though, I've supported. Ever see a musician in freezing cold
weather playing away on the street?
Yeah, I usually drop them a $20 as at least they are working for what they
want. So you, yourself can take
a long hard suck when assuming about me.

As for you, someone who is unable to spend any time working to generate any
funds for oneself, you sure have a lot of
spare time to post in multiple newsgroups. Now consider that and how it
appears to anyone with an IQ over 75 reading
a newsgroup. Learn to ebay, setup an internet hosting business, there's
tonnes of things you could do that would be
tantamount (yet more productive) than trolling in forums asking for
handouts.

GL with your panhandling

Cheers,
Craig
