Well, let's look at each one.
ADB devices are slaves to the Host, the computer, so
there would need to be some hefty firmware involved.
A microcontroller could maybe act as the host and go-
between to the mouse card.
PS/2 devices are serial devices, so that would not be
so hard, and also could use a microcontroller as the
intermediary between them.
I believe, and I will probably be corrected here,
that the mouse card accepts TTL signals derived from
resistance settings similar to analog joysticks.
