Update:

There seems to be an issue with the original Sider booting PRODOS from
ProSel.
I'm seeing conflicting resolutions to this, but the general idea
appears to be something
like this...

Install 6.01 to /HARD1

Rename PRODOS.SYS to GSOS.SYS

Copy an older (preGSOS) prodos.sys and basic.system to /HARD1

Create a STARTUP with the line ? CHR$(4);"-GSOS"

While this seems to make a little sense, I get the following error
"Unable to load GS.OS.STARTUP" Error=$0035"

I have a feeling I'm close to an answer.  Does any of this jog a few
rusty braincells around here?
