The A2M2010, Monitor // was introduced around the time of the //e
revision from the hard plastic ][/+ like case to the thinner injection
mold type. The most noticable change then was the color of the keycap
letters. The underlaying keyboard also changed.
The monitor option for the //e was the Monitor /// with the slide under
stand that was also offered with the ][+ towards the end of production
of it. The original typical monitor option offered by dealers was the
9" B&W Sanyo box monitor and then the Green 12" Zenith TV looking
monitor was the common addition.
If you splurged you got an Amdek Color-1 composite monitor. But those
who had 80 column cards typically didn't take this route as the Amdek
Color-1 80 col. display was pretty nasty. If you wanted 80 col. on
color composite you had to opt. for a Trinitron 'Super Fine Pitch' CRT
based offering or use the Amdek RGB monitor. Typically people may have
had two monitors.
