I was surprised to learn that ProTERM is just twenty bucks.

I'd seen the $59.95 price on the intrec.com site (which still lists 
that price), but you're right that the order form lists "ProTERM Apple2 
v3.1" for just $19.95.

I just gave Jerry at Intrec a call, and the price is indeed USD$19.95 
plus USD$5.00 for the optional manual on CD. Their toll-free number 
doesn't work for us Canadians, but the shipping price to Canada and to 
the U.S. is the same (USD$4.00).

Jerry at Intrec said they'd been having problems with their web site 
and had been unable to update it, but he hoped they'd be able to do so 
shortly.
