Re: Color kill problem?



Yes I have, but the color trim pot should have no effect when the
computer is in text mode, should it?  The other video pot makes a
difference, in that if I turn it down far enough the colors disappear
but then the text is dim and not as readable.  On my other ][+, that
pot can be turned up all the way and the text is still sharp and white.

I should also mention that I have tried multiple displays and multiple
cords, so it is definitely a problem with the computer.  I have read
that the computer is supposed toautomatically go into a monochrome mode
when the text mode is in use, and that seems to be the problem here (in
that it is not doing that).  Why it displays so well in GR mode is
beyond me.  I wonder if it is forcing monochrome in GR mode for some
reason?  Ill try to plot a couple of color pixels and see how it
behaves.
