it now or $4700.00 starting bid!!!!

it is standard 2e with 1 duodrive and monitor pretty standard....beginning 
bid is $4700.00 buy it now for $4800.00

now these odd little overpriced auctions are funny in a pointing your finger 
and giggle kind of way..but knowing ebay...there will be someone on ebay who 
one day will actually BUY something like this for $5k and man am i gonna cry 
then

(something like :

the wife: "well dear i got you a present ..i know you like to collect those 
apple // deally/stuff..so i got you an apple //e for $10k .off ebay....of 
course i paid for it with your credit card..but i'm sure you don't mind 
since i found those charges made by your 22 yr old intern at the office to 
victoria secret....ta ta...i'm off to shop some more)

anyway...what is the highest price basic apple //e or //gs unit that 
actually seemed to have ever sold on ebay..i know i've seen a //e standard 
setup 2 drives and monitor with say an 80col card and 64k card combo go for 
$100 bucks or so...

some stuff to make us groan for more then that?

(the only thing ever happened to me is i put up an ibm pc model 30 
microchannel pc cpu box up on ebay i think it was model sub number 3670.. or 
some such  for $7 and  i had a bidding war on it between 2 newbies (i 
assume ) it  went for $210...i blew it off as a joke.... but the next day i 
got the $230 via paypal for it and shipping and litterally fell off my 
chair!..any other similar stories on apple //e's or such on here?)

(ebay people watching...the silly things they do ..educational and 
entertaining!!!...i recomend it...)
