Hot on the heels of the completion of the Computist project by Mike
Maginnis, I'm pleased to announce the online availability of another
magazine: Computer Gaming World (CGW), from 1981-1992. This one isn't
Apple II specific, but contains tons of Apple II gaming coverage.
Highlights:
-102 issues saved as .PDF files
-Every issue processed through Optical Character Recognition (OCR),
enabling a 3+ million word global index
-Bookmarks and links for ease of navigation
-7438 pages covering 11 years of gaming
The CGW Archive is a CGW Museum product, published by Ziff Davis (which
own the rights to the content). The issues are freely available on Ziff
Davis' FileFront website. Read the entire fake press release at the CGW
Museum site.
