Well, I wasn't going to reveal this until we were
ready to release it, but we have an application by
which a CD or DVD ROM drive can be utilitized on
the IDE port of the CFFA. We are now working with
the Microdrive's Slave port to get it to function
there as well. No need for a separate card, Bryan,
just software to make them work on the cards that
already exist, and we have it. Once beta testing
begins, would you like to be on the list of testers?

There already exists a card which reads the bitstream
of a 5.25" disk, The Disk II. Write software for it to
do the job you want it to do. Stop talking and start
doing. :o)
