Great! I'll let you know if I can get it working with XP.

Hopefully not a problem. Only issue might be memory. The IIgs has a
total of 1.125MB. It will be a little while (I hope not too long)
before I buy the dram chips from GSE-Reactive to pump it up to 5MB.

You deserve it! Jumping through those MS-CHAP hoops to get it working
definitely took time and effort. I was looking at the RFC for it; what
a pain.

I figure as much. I'll have to order a cable online. Ideally I'd like
to use a miniDin-8 to DB9, preferably with the RX/TX signals correct so
that I don't have to use a null-modem adapter. Most of what I see are
miniDin-8 to DB25 (for about $5), but to go to DB9 I only found it at
one place and they want $20 for it. Then I'll probably need a DB9/DB9
null-modem adapter.

Oh, that's great news! Certainly not high priority as Vista isn't even
out yet and I don't see lots of people converting very quickly, unless
they are buying completely new machines. I'm happy with XP and will
probably keep my XP and 2000 machines running as long as they can.

Ya, I read the your readme comments that mentioned those articles. Mo'
money. I've got a lot of retro gear on my "to get" list already.
Cable, 4MB of DRAM, IIgs toolbox/reference books, ORCA/C, Nibble mag
DVD.. I should be able to figure out how to set up Marinetti w/
windows.
Thanks for the input, I appreciate it!
