It would make it very easy. The main question is, what would we do with
it? The obvious answer is storage, and it should be fairly simple to
provide firmware on such a card that would allow access to USB keys (or
even disks) as ProDOS devices.
As far as HID goes, that's a little more complicated. You'd need to
support this on card as well, and perhaps generate the necessary
signals to drive the Apple II mouse and keyboard inputs. Personally,
I'm not convinced that HID is worth the effort.
If all the card can to is drive USB Storage (just like a CFFA does for
compact flash cards) and allow direct access other USB devices, it'd be
worth having, IMHO
