Re: Steve's new book "IWOZ"

I don't know that it really made him look all that bad. I mean, so Woz
wrote a book of lame computer jokes and didn't want to embarass himself
about it on Colbert. I think the legend of Woz was aparent very
clearly (taking his own knife on the airplane and cutting his steak
with it) -- i don't have the cojones to take a razor-sharp business
card on an airplane and brag on cable television about it. It was Woz
alright. Some of the funnier moments were Colbert about being
podcasted:"Does it hurt?"

And Woz did tell a funny computer joke: "The 286, that was a pretty
funny joke" but you couldn't catch the real humor of it because Colbert
did what he does with all his guests, rudely interrupt them and not
allow them to finish their sentences. Woz isn't used to that sort of
treatment and was probably taken a bit off guard. So what?

It wasn't an embarassing grilling by any means, just not as funny as it
could have been becase (to no surprise) Woz is not a stand-up comedian
or good on camera when unscripted. Can't say I'd be any better.
