I just saw this part of the post:

Any idea what this updated added?  Did it fix the speed of the game at
all?  After playing the IIe version all my life I was appalled at how
slow the IIgs version was.  I passed it off as programming inexperience
since it was the first IIgs game released, but if an updated version is
out there I'd like to see it.
