Judging by the picture in the manual you just need a female DE-15 crimp
connector, a 16 pin female IDC and a length of 16 core ribbon cable.
Remove a short length of wire 16 at one end of the cable (wire 1 is
usually red). Insert the 16 wire end into the IDC (pin 1 is marked with
a triangle) and crimp. Insert the 15 wire end into the DE-15F (the
holes should be numbered) and crimp.
When I lay my hands on mine I will photograph the cable and post it
somewhere.
