Hey, I'm the first to agree! It's a catch-22 for me - I'm no good at it,
so I tend not to use it, so I never will be good at it! :(

Fortunately I haven't had to do a *lot* of rework, mainly because I tend
to be involved in consulting on designs and/or doing
FPGA/firmware/software these days, so some other poor sucker (ie. the
customer) has the responsibility for patching/repairing boards! ;)
