I'd say that that occasional minor distraction is a small price to pay for universal availability and archiving--not to mention not requiring the constant attention of a moderator. ;-) Much more annoying to legitimate users is the occasional flame wars (which have blissfully abated over the last few years), but history would indicate that even moderated boards are not immune, since the "moderator" frequently takes a side. -michael New, faster SUDOKU v2.0 solver for Apple II's!
